Zack's Fabulous Bar Mitzvah ~ Sonata's Event in Scottsdale

I LOVE photographing Bar/Bat Mitzvahs!  It is one of the most beautiful ceremonies I have ever witnessed.  The commitment to prepare for a bar/bat mitzvah requires lots of hard work by the young man or lady who is being honored.  The joy of family, tradition, and celebration are an absolutely wonderful thing to witness.

This was Zack's big day!  He celebrated at Sonata's, a beautiful venue in North Scottsdale with family friends and lots of festivities.  I love this fun family as they always put on a special event honoring this meaningful tradition.  Please enjoy these favorites from Zack's special day!  Mazel tov!

Kacey's Gorgeous Bridal Shower ~ Scottsdale, AZ

No details were left out at this elegant bridal shower held in Scottsdale on Sunday afternoon.  The weather was perfect, the bride-to-be was beautiful, and the flowers, decorations, food and spirits were impeccable.  It was a perfect day to celebrate Kacey's upcoming wedding next month.  Family and friends gathered to enjoy festive games, lunch, and an absolutely gorgeous day in Arcadia.  I had so much fun capturing this beautiful event, and I'm excited to share some of my favorites.

Happy Bridal Shower Kacey!

The Sensational Six from Nebraska ~ Scottsdale Photography Session at the Valley Ho

What a fun time I had on Sunday afternoon capturing this beautiful group of ladies on a "Girls Trip Weekend" in Scottsdale.  Meet the Sensational Six--Grace, Amanda, Kerri, Jen, Lindsey and Maggie!  Visiting from Nebraska, this crew stayed at the hip and trendy Hotel Valley Ho nestled in down town Scottsdale's art district.

One of the best things about my work is getting to know the people I am photographing, and these gals were fabulous!  In fact, I felt lucky to be capturing and observing their beautiful friendship.  Their bubbly personalities were fantastic, and I could tell how true and genuine their sisterhood was by the way they interacted with each other.  They were up for all kinds of adventure, and we really got some beautiful shots moving throughout the hotel's grounds.  I know you will enjoy seeing a glimpse of their weekend.

Thank you Nebraska for the gem of an opportunity to meet and photograph your sensational six.  Come back soon and we'll do again ;).

Happy 100th Birthday to Marcy Smucker Clark!!!

It was such a happy occasion last Saturday in North Scottsdale as I had the lucky opportunity to capture this wonderful lady and her entire family in celebration of her 100th birthday!  Marcy Smucker Clark was as radiant as ever in a room filled with her entire family including three children, nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many close friends.  The evening events included special toasts, presentations, and a surprise tribute from the Phoenix Boys Choir.  Mrs. Clark truly is a remarkable lady, and I was honored to capture her event in photos!  The beautiful event ended with a yummy ice cream bar filled with, of course, Smucker's toppings!  With that kind of name, you know it was delicious;)!  Happy 100th Marcy!

Julie and Brian's Fabulous Pasadena Wedding!

I am so excited to present the preview from Fresh's first WEDDING!!!!  I absolutely love this couple and all of their crew :)!!!  Of course, it is extremely awesome that I can also call them family!

There was so much love in the air throughout this whole weekend where family and friends gathered to honor Julie and Brian as they begin their new adventure together.

The wedding was in beautiful Pasadena, California at All Saints Church, and the reception was at one of the bride's closest friend's home in the same beautiful Rose Bowl city. The service of holy matrimony was officiated by the Reverend Kennedy, and the couple had singing and musical accompaniment by Sean McCue and Michelle Beauchesne.

The reception was an amazing Mexican Fiesta complete with traditional food, wonderful margaritas, wedding cake and a special chocolate fountain!  Everyone danced, toasted and celebrated into the late hours.

One of my favorite parts of the wedding experience was seeing the bride and groom drive off in a vintage car into the California Sunset.  What a way to jump into married life!

Okay, enough talk.  Check out this gorgeous couple!  Congratulations Julie and Brian!!!!
