Seattle Beauties! ~ Scottsdale Family Photographer

I absolutely love this family!  I have photographing them since both girls were babies, and it has been an absolute pleasure to watch them grow.  Of course, I am also Aunt Suzie....so you can imagine how crazy I am for these two beautiful little ladies.  

This photo shoot was extra special because I was able to capture this sweet family in their new house in Seattle.  I had so much fun going to their beach and exploring their new stomping grounds.

What a truly beautiful place to live!  Enjoy this crew!!!

Ahhhh, the South Carolina coast, my family on vacation, and our attempted photo shoot with the remote shutter and a mini tripod on a humid beach night!   Capturing my teen and tween is not as easy these days due to their aversion to my camera, but I did get some.  I love this crew!

Happy Birthday to my little business today!  Five years ago I embarked on a wonderful adventure that has taken me to four states, numerous cities, through a professional certification process and so much more. My mission has been to capture memories or moments that people could treasure for a lifetime.  The time has flown and the experience has been amazing!!!!  However, most importantly.....I could not have done it without all of you!  Your beautiful, real, and timeless faces and families and support have meant so much, and I look forward to continuing the journey.  Thanks for letting me capture your wonderful lives!  Happy Birthday Fresh!

Happy Summer!!!!!

Happy Summer everyone!!!!!  I love the carefree days of this season....long daylight hours and time to play with the dogs!  Hope your time during this fun-filled time is going great!

It's a bird, it's a plane, it's a CPP! (Certified Professional Photographer)

I'm so excited to share the big news with you all that I felt some shots of a real superhero would help illustrate how I feel! 

I am very proud to announce that I just earned my Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) designation from the Professional Photographic Certification Commission!  Yippee!

What does this mean?  Well, in a nutshell, I had to meet very rigorous requirements measuring my artistic and technical competence within the photography industry.  Yes....I had to pass a written exam AND an image review which required both compulsory lighting images as well as images from my client work.  It was a long process with crazy obstacles, but I did it!  Finally, because the Professional Photographic Certification Commission currently recognizes less than 2,000 Certified Professional Photographers.....I am JUMPING FOR JOY!

A huge thank you to all for being my SUPERHEROS and giving me lots of support!  With this new superpower that I have.....I promise to continue on this wonderful journey of capturing you and your loved ones!  In other words......I can't wait to keep taking photos!

Bluebonnets and Boys!

The bluebonnets are blooming in Texas right now!  It's a big deal if you are a Texan since the bluebonnet is our state flower.  Fields and fields of these wildflowers bloom every year around this time, and photographers go crazy finding patches of them to capture their clients.  I was in luck yesterday as my sweet husband came across a huge field of bluebonnets, so we raced out with my boys and Gina (our dog) to click away.  It was a beautiful day for photos, and the boys had fun rolling around in the thick of color.
