The Sensational Seven at the Museum of the West ~ Scottsdale Family Portraits

I think this family gets more stunning every year I photograph them!  I have known this gorgeous crew forever and am thankful to call them a part of my family.  We spent last Saturday evening at the Museum of the West near Old Town Scottsdale.  The building had such interesting architecture that it made a perfect spot to capture some really great photos.  Of course, the colors that this family wore were perfect for the backdrops we had.  I always love spending time with this crew, and please enjoy some of my favorites!  Love this family:)!

All About Me Sessions ~ Davis and Ainsley!

It's Summer!!!!  It's time to play, go on adventures, and capture your kids doing everything and anything.  Time really flies, so capturing your children is important, even in the most mundane things.  Recently, we did "All About Me" sessions for Ainsley and Davis.  It was a time for them to pick their favorite things and to just let them be themselves.  Then, the magic happened.  Enjoy some of my favorites.

Family Near and Dear to My Heart at the Scottsdale Civic Center ~ Scottsdale Family Photography

I have known this family since I was a little girl, and I can't tell you what a joy it is for me to photograph them every year.  Not only do I love them like they were my own family, I love watching them grow more lovely every year.  Gorgeous, photogenic, beautiful, and fabulous....they are all of these and more.  This year we ventured over to the beautiful Scottsdale Civic Center that boasts some of the most scenic backdrops in the city.  City lights and park-like settings make this venue super quaint for families.  We had so much fun and captured some fantastic photos.  Please enjoy some of my favorites :)!  xoxo

There is no place like HOME! ~ Arcadia Family Session

I was excited to capture this lovely Arcadia family in their home last Tuesday.  The sun was setting after a busy day of school, sports, and typical life...so photographing this gorgeous crew in a place of comfort was the absolute best!  Home truly is where the heart is, and for this family, it was also a tradition.  In their beautiful home, photos of much younger boys from this same doorway are displayed. It was really neat for me to see their growth in such a special place, and I was honored to carry on such a wonderful practice. 

Of course, they are also EXTREMELY PHOTOGENIC and as beautiful in person as they are in photos.  Enjoy some of my favorites from this fabulous session.

Family Gatherings From Across The Pond! ~ Arcadia Family Photography Session

One of the coolest parts of my job is being able to capture extended families on special occasions.  This beautiful crew had family travel all the way from England in order to be together, and the pleasure was all mine!

Seeing this grandmother with her two children and five beautiful granddaughters was a delight!  We all braved the heat in sections in order to obtain these beautiful family groupings.  The girls were so fun to work with, and they were smiled like champs in the crazy hot weather.  You will be able to see from the photos what a loving group they are and how much fun we had :)!  Enjoy some of my favorites!

Two Sweet Boys at an Old Farmhouse Park! ~ Phoenix Children Photographer

It was standing room only out at Manistee Ranch Park in Phoenix yesterday--literally.  This beautiful  park has fences, wonderful trees, old barns, and tractors galore.  It's no wonder that photographers all over the valley were out in full force capturing families for holiday photos.  I managed to squeeze in the mix and snap some fun shots of these two cuties.  This brother duo was so great at listening, and we had lots of fun climbing fences, running races, and playing piggy back.  I enjoyed every second, and their smiles say the rest.  Here are some of my favorites :).

My favorite party of seven :) ~Scottsdale Family Session at the Xeriscape Garden

 I photographed one of my favorite families last Sunday evening at the hidden Xeriscape Garden near Chapparal Park.  I get so excited to capture them every year for three reasons...

1. They are part of my family, and I have loved them forever!

2.  They are seriously one of the kindest and most photogenic party of seven on the planet.

3.  I love watching them grow from year to year into even more beautiful people.

4.  I know I only said three reasons....but...did I mention their style?  It's fabulous :)

 There are lots of trees, paths, stone walls, and colorful backdrops for capturing beautiful people in the Xeriscape Garden.  I especially loved the clothing this family wore as they coordinated so nicely with a holiday flair that looked amazing in this scenery. 

As always, the sweet kiddos were so well behaved even with the chilly weather, and we had some fun playing telephone games.  Here are some of my favorites.
