Zack's Fabulous Bar Mitzvah ~ Sonata's Event in Scottsdale

I LOVE photographing Bar/Bat Mitzvahs!  It is one of the most beautiful ceremonies I have ever witnessed.  The commitment to prepare for a bar/bat mitzvah requires lots of hard work by the young man or lady who is being honored.  The joy of family, tradition, and celebration are an absolutely wonderful thing to witness.  

This was Zack's big day!  He celebrated at Sonata's, a beautiful venue in North Scottsdale with family friends and lots of festivities.  I love this fun family as they always put on a special event honoring this meaningful tradition.  Please enjoy these favorites from Zack's special day!  Mazel tov!

A Black Belt becomes a Bar Mitzvah!!! {Phoenix-Scottsdale Event Photography}

Mazel Tov!  What an event last Saturday in Scottsdale!  This wonderful family celebrated their eldest son becoming a bar mitzvah!  It was a beautiful morning at Temple Kol Ami where I got to meet the entire Okun family and all of their fabulous friends.  Rabbi Jeremy Schneider conducted the service, and a good time was had by all.  Just following the ceremony, the entire group headed over to Benihana in Scottsdale to kick off the fabulous party to celebrate!  Since the guest of honor is a full black belt in karate...the theme couldn't have been more perfect.  The chefs went to town and cooked for the entire group while Dave Valdez of Bar Game Show Productions kept the party moving with games and dancing.  There was a hoppin' photo booth, lots of smiles and a super fun family in the middle of it all!  Here is a snapshot of all the fun!  Congrats Jake! :)

Morgan's Bar Mitzvah {Phoenix Bar Mitzvah Photographer}

Hey everyone!

I recently had the awesome experience of photographing Morgan's Bar Mitzvah on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in March. It was a huge event with a ton happy party goers including friends and family who had traveled both locally and from afar.

The ceremony was held at the beautiful Temple Kol Ami - Scottsdale,  and the celebration directly followed with a video game theme and other great events at Dave & Buster's in the Desert Ridge shopping complex.  All of the guests showed up with spirit, enthusiasm, and even donned bow ties for the occasion.  There was a masquerade intro, several festive games, and fun contests in celebration of Morgan's big day.     The venue looked amazing as well with a beautifully decorated second floor platinum lounge and patio dedicated to the big party. It was truly fabulous after fabulous!!!!

In addition to all the festive eating and dancing, the traditional Hora and Candle Lighting ceremonies are always my favorite to capture in photographs as they bring out such wonderful family emotion.

 I was so happy to have documented in pictures all the excitement that this day brought.  Congrats to Morgan and his beautiful family!  Mazel Tov :)
