All About Me Sessions ~ Davis and Ainsley!

It's Summer!!!!  It's time to play, go on adventures, and capture your kids doing everything and anything.  Time really flies, so capturing your children is important, even in the most mundane things.  Recently, we did "All About Me" sessions for Ainsley and Davis.  It was a time for them to pick their favorite things and to just let them be themselves.  Then, the magic happened.  Enjoy some of my favorites.

Family Gatherings From Across The Pond! ~ Arcadia Family Photography Session

One of the coolest parts of my job is being able to capture extended families on special occasions.  This beautiful crew had family travel all the way from England in order to be together, and the pleasure was all mine!

Seeing this grandmother with her two children and five beautiful granddaughters was a delight!  We all braved the heat in sections in order to obtain these beautiful family groupings.  The girls were so fun to work with, and they were smiled like champs in the crazy hot weather.  You will be able to see from the photos what a loving group they are and how much fun we had :)!  Enjoy some of my favorites!

Seattle Beauties! ~ Scottsdale Family Photographer

I absolutely love this family!  I have photographing them since both girls were babies, and it has been an absolute pleasure to watch them grow.  Of course, I am also Aunt Suzie....so you can imagine how crazy I am for these two beautiful little ladies.  

This photo shoot was extra special because I was able to capture this sweet family in their new house in Seattle.  I had so much fun going to their beach and exploring their new stomping grounds.

What a truly beautiful place to live!  Enjoy this crew!!!

It's a Happy New Year for this Photogenic Foursome ~ Family Session at the Phoenician

Happy New Year to all!  I could not have been more excited to kick off 2016 than to photograph this quite striking family in the Cactus Garden.  The Phoenician has become one of my favorite places to capture families as it has such gorgeous grounds that yield beautiful photos.  So even when we had an overcast day due to all the rain, we were still able to really get some nice shots of this crew.  Of course, it also helped that they are one incredibly photogenic family, AND they nailed their coordination of colors.

However, probably the coolest thing about this shoot was getting to know them.  Meeting new people is one of the most enjoyable aspects of my job.  This family has some talented and sweet kiddos as well as ties to the Carolinas (one of my favorite places on earth.)   I had such fun chatting about Charlotte and Kiawah Island with them....it truly is a small world.

Two Sweet Boys at an Old Farmhouse Park! ~ Phoenix Children Photographer

It was standing room only out at Manistee Ranch Park in Phoenix yesterday--literally.  This beautiful  park has fences, wonderful trees, old barns, and tractors galore.  It's no wonder that photographers all over the valley were out in full force capturing families for holiday photos.  I managed to squeeze in the mix and snap some fun shots of these two cuties.  This brother duo was so great at listening, and we had lots of fun climbing fences, running races, and playing piggy back.  I enjoyed every second, and their smiles say the rest.  Here are some of my favorites :).

The Fab Four at the Phoenician ~ Arcadia Family Photographer

Oh my goodness....I had a ball with this family on Saturday at the gorgeous Cactus Garden located at the Phoenician Resort in Phoenix, AZ.  I call this crew the FAB FOUR for three reasons....

1. They came out for this photo shoot on a rainy day.

 2. Their sweet little guy turned 10 on Saturday AND they still came out for photos. We all know what a HUGE deal it is to turn double digits.

 3.  They truly are as fun as they look in the photos :).

The Cactus Garden has become one of my favorite places to photograph families as the light is spectacular and there are countless backdrops of beauty to use.  If I had not already done my own holiday shoot, I would have taken my family here.  Plus, now it is all decorated with lights.  So if you have not been.....it's a treat.  Trust me :)!
